Source: Minsk plans to start oil pumping from Poland in 2020
MINSK, Apr 23 (PRIME) -- Belarus plans to start pumping oil via a pipeline running from Poland for its Mozyr refinery until the end of 2020 to get about 100,000 tonnes per month, an energy source told PRIME on Thursday.
The Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade Ministry of Belarus said that it set the tariff for reverse oil shipments from Poland at about 264 rubles per net tonne without value-added tax (VAT).
"Everything has been technically prepared for the start of pipeline oil pumping from Poland, naturally, the tariff was set for a reason. An agreement has been reached with Poland. It is assumed that pumping to the refinery in Belarus will start until the end of the year. Small volumes are planned at the first stage, about 100,000 tonnes per month," the source said.
